Rest Well, My Friend

Many of you may not know the name Mary Dillman. But those of you who do are no doubt familiar with her many lasting accomplishments – not just those of her own, but also those of others she helped inspire. I can speak to that, since I’m one of them. And now that she’s transitioned to another state of existence, the strength and magnitude of her legacy are sure to take on added importance, not just for those whom she touched, but also to the newcomers who will undoubtedly by drawn to her work and that of her kindreds. For many years, Mary was a tireless and passionate advocate of the conscious creation process, the philosophy that maintains we manifest [...]

Thoughts on the Moment

Recent events on both a national and global scale have given me pause to reflect on where we are and where we might be going. An Ode to One of Filmdom’s Finest

In recognition of the 50th anniversary of the release of Stanley Kubrick’s groundbreaking film, “2001: A Space Odyssey” (1968), a new 70-millimeter print of this cinematic icon is being released in theaters around the country. Produced from a true photochemical restoration printed off of the original camera negative, this new print is sharper and features better color than ever seen before. And, given how remarkably well this picture has held up since its original release, any improvement on it is a truly astounding accomplishment. At the time of this celluloid enigma’s debut, few understood what Kubrick was trying to say through this film. It was – and still is – open to a range of interpretations, each equally valid in [...]
